![]() ![]() Trust me, you're chasing a rabbit down a never-ending hole, looking for a library to add to this software. Anything you can't handle on your own, bring to us here on the forums and I or another member will get you together. ![]() There are pretty good write-ups of all this in HELP. You cannot have duplicate symbols in the various symbol libraries. Each symbol library set must be in its own subdirectory, but adhere to the AutoCAD Electrical file naming convention. ![]() This is mostly done with the Symbol Builder tool and a firm understanding of the naming conventions for symbols and attributes. You can select the library you want to use for each project. Personally I wouldn't even attempt it because you'd be looking at just as much or more work in editing the added symbols as you would in creating them from scratch in the first place.ĪCADE provides the tools you need to edit/create symbols to your liking. No one out there is just making libraries that follow these rules and posting them for download, and any libraries you do find aren't likely to take these rules into account. Blocks for ACADE have to follow a strict naming convention, and so do the attributes within the blocks. Regarding the switch symbol: what's wrong with the ones that come in the library? They're as basic as can be.Īs for adding a block library and adding it to ACADE: In all practicality, you can't. ![]()
