I use it for Roll20, and it's done wonders to liven the game. In all, non joking honesty, the software is solid, the mod textures and objects are nice, and it can export to be used on things like Roll20, or, as previously stated, printed out for face to face. Id suggest supporting some asset creators on Patreon - you can easily download complete packs as ZIP files when you do so. You can always try it and refund it using the steam returns policy if it is not for you. Dungeon Asset pack so you can make your own dungeon layout. Look at a few of the youtube videos to get a feel on how to use the application, also look at ta few of the maps that have been created. One of the big bonuses is the additional assets you can download from the workshop - there is literally gigs of assets/textures/objects you can add and use.Īdditionally you can use DPS to create other maps such as world maps - but there are other programs that are easier to use and can produce better results (in my opinion). It is perfect for battlemaps - though one of the two tools are a bit "quirky" and require an adjustment to the way you would normally think to draw maps.
